Cancer Prevention

Is cancer preventable?  Yes, it can be!

Cancer is predominantly a toxin driven disease. What does that mean? Toxins taken into the body damage cells and if those cells aren’t cleaned up they multiply out of control and form a lump or tumour.

If you have genetic predisposition to cancer (you carry certain genes) does not mean you will in fact develop cancer.  Risk factors are higher for some people, so they may need to work a little harder at prevention.

What are prevention measures? Simply put – REDUCING YOUR TOXIN LOAD.

What toxins?

  • Ÿ       Household cleaning products
  • Ÿ       Skin care products
  • Ÿ       Exhaust fumes
  • Ÿ       Cigarette smoke
  • Ÿ       Non-organic foods (sprayed with pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers)
  • Ÿ       Food additives and preservatives (artificial and chemical)
  • Ÿ       Electro-magnetic Radiation (computers, cell phones, etc.)
  • Ÿ       Contaminated water (chlorinated)

In a nut shell – the food we eat, the water we drink and the air we breathe are the main sources of our toxin intake.

Preventative Measures

  •  Ÿ       Use all natural cleaning products -read labels very carefully. Just because it says Green on it doesn’t make it safe
  • Ÿ       Use all natural skin care products – there are many different companies out there now providing healthy options
  • Ÿ       Avoid toxic inhalants as much as possible
  • Ÿ       Buy organic food – for the simple reason that it is clean
  • Ÿ       Reduce your use of the computer, cell phones and being around electrical devises as much as possible
  • Ÿ       Drink reverse osmosis water
